Then the ute grew, the windscreen changed shape, and the sizes changed with it. That is why the 2007 Ford Ranger wiper blade size and the 2009 Ford Ranger wiper blade size still look like the old truck, while the 2011 Ford Ranger wiper blade size can go two ways depending on when your ute was built. 2011 The Year Everything Changed

2011 is the year to slow down. The PK Ranger was still selling early in the year with its 18-inch pair. The T6-based PX Ranger landed later in 2011 with a completely new windscreen, and it takes a 24-inch driver blade with a 16-inch passenger blade.

Same model year. Two very different pairs. Check your build plate before you buy. If your ute has the boxier old body, you want 18 and 18. If it has the rounded T6 body with the big raked windscreen, you want 600mm and 400mm.

PX1, PX2, and PX3: 2011 to 2022

Ten years of Rangers, one set of sizes. The PX1, the PX2, and the PX3 all run a 24-inch driver blade and a 16-inch passenger blade. Wildtrak, XLT, XL, Raptor, single cab, super cab, and double cab. The windscreen is shared accross  the range, so the wiper sizes are same.

If your Ranger was built between late 2011 and early 2022, 600 mm and 400 mm are your answers. 

2022 Onwards: The Next-Gen PX4

The Next-Gen Ranger went on sale during 2022 with a wider body and a bigger windscreen. The blades grew with it. You now need a 25-inch driver blade and a 17-inch passenger blade.

This is why the 2022 Ford Ranger wiper blade size has two correct answers. An early-2022 PX3 takes 24 and 16. A Next-Gen PX4 takes 25 and 17. One inch sounds small, but a blade that is an inch too long will clip the A-pillar or the windscreen surround on every sweep.
